City Commission adjusts meeting times to 6 p.m.

Palmetto man arrested by Sarasota Police detectives in connection to 2015 sexual battery
Clifton Bean, 45, of 52nd Avenue East, Palmetto, has been arrested and is facing two charges of sexual battery on a victim over 12 in connection to a 2015 case. Bean was arrested by the Sarasota Police Department and the United States Marshals Service Florida Regional Fugitive Task Force.

Alex Boyd, 22, of Old Bradenton Road, Sarasota, has been arrested and is facing charges of transmission of child pornography by an electronic device and possession of child pornography. Additional charges are possible.
