In preparation and response to Tropical Storm Elsa, the City of Sarasota has declared a Local State of Emergency. City Manager Marlon Brown in consultation with Mayor Hagen Brody, City Attorney Robert Fournier and City Auditor and Clerk Shayla Griggs approved the declaration.
