Free Youth After Hours Event at Payne Park Tennis Center
The City of Sarasota Parks and Recreation Department is partnering with the Sarasota Police Department, Robert L. Taylor Community Complex, and Payne Park Tennis Center to present “K.O.P.S. Teen Tennis Night” on Friday, Nov. 4 from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m.

Operation Blue Roof program extended through Nov. 1
Operation Blue Roof is a free service to homeowners. The counties that have been identified are Charlotte, Lee and Sarasota. The initial sign-up period will end on Oct. 23.

Yard waste collection resumes
Residential yard waste collection in the City of Sarasota has resumed. Minimal amounts of vegetative debris, such as small branches, twigs, leaves and weeds, should be properly prepared in bags or containers for curbside collection.
