Chief Troche Releases Update and Video Footage Following Monday Night’s Crash Involving Officer and 8-Year-Old Child

Free parking to continue on barrier islands; Downtown parking enforcement to begin Oct. 28
Public parking will remain free on St. Armands Circle and Lido Key, as the two hardest hit areas in Sarasota continue to undergo restoration following back-to-back destructive hurricanes Helene and Milton. Downtown parking enforcement will resume incrementally starting Monday, Oct. 28.
