24th Annual Men’s Senior City Championship
Registration is open for the 24th Annual Men’s Senior City Championship, at Bobby Jones Golf Club, April 6 & 7, 2019. Tee time, on the British Course, starts at 7:30 a.m. from tees 1 and 10 (Sunday tee times will be based on flight). We look forward to having you join us for an exciting weekend of competitive fun.
The 24th Annual Men’s Senior City Championship is open to any male amateur-golfer who will be at least 50 years of age by April 6, 2019 (Super Senior 70+). The tournament is a 36-hole stroke play championship, with gross scores determining overall flight winners. The overall Senior Champion may come from any flight playing the white tees.
FLIGHTS
They will be based on Saturday's scores. Award payouts will be announced by the beginning of play on Sunday, April 7, 2019. Payouts are in form of Bobby Jones Golf Shop merchandise gift cards which expire in 18 months (October 7, 2021).
REGISTRATION
To register please visit or call the Pro-Shop at 941-954-4163. The Entry Fee is $150.00 per player. Includes: Cart, Green Fees, Tee Gift, Prizes, Award Dinner and Refreshments. The first 104 paid players will be accepted. Paid entries after 5 p.m. on Monday, April 1, 2019 will be charged a late fee of $10.
RULES & REGULATIONS
The U.S.G.A. rules will apply. Local rules governing the 2019 Men’s Senior Championship will be distributed to each player on Saturday, April 6, 2019. This tournament is open to any amateur golfer who will be at least 50 years of age as of April 6, 2019. 50-69 year-olds will play from the white tees, 70 + gold tees.
CANCELLATION & SUBSTITUTION POLICY
Cancellation/Refund – Entry refunds will be handled as follows: 100% refund if canceled on or before the tournament deadline (April 1, 2019); 50% refund if canceled up to 48 hours before the day of the tournament (9 a.m. April 4); 0% after that. Substitution - Arrangements for substitutes must be cleared with BJGC management no later than the close-of-business, Friday, April 5. Substitutions will not be permitted on the day of the tournament without BJGC management approval.

Bobby Jones Golf Club is the only golf facility located within the city limits of beautiful Sarasota - a golfing mecca nestled on the Gulf of Mexico coast just one hour south of Tampa, Florida. The facility sits on over 300 contiguous acres of virgin meadowland adjacent to Fruitville Road (State Road 780), the gateway to downtown Sarasota and its world-famous beaches.
This historic gem, initially designed by Donald Ross in 1926, has grown to include two 18-hole championship courses and a 9-hole executive course. A particularly unique feature of this complex is the absence of any building development on all but one golf hole.
