Join the City of Sarasota Parks and Recreation District on Tuesday, October 1, 2019 for the official opening of the brand-new playground equipment at 9 a.m. in Pioneer Park. The past playground was destroyed back in February 2019 by a suspicious fire.

The NEW Playground by Playcraft Systems - Treehouse Theme includes:

Multiple Slides
Arch Swings
Tree Climbers
Spider Net Climber
SpinMAX Spherical Spinner (1st of its kind according to manufacturer)
2-5 year-old & 5-12 year-old areas
FreeNotes - Freestanding musical components including drums and flower-shaped harmony bells.
Numerous moving activity panels for sensory play.
Plenty of ground-level components for accessibility.
