Celebrate the Ribbon Cutting of Overtown Square!

Please join us  to open our newest City of Sarasota park, Overtown Square, located in the heart of the Rosemary District on Central Avenue, between 5th Way and Boulevard of the Arts. Named in honor of Sarasota's first Black neighborhood, Overtown, the stunning new park is a tribute to the community's rich history and spirit.

The development of Overtown Square was inspired by the vision of passionate Rosemary District members who sought to create a space for everyone to enjoy. We are incredibly grateful to all who helped bring this vision to life and look forward to celebrating this momentous occasion with you. 

To commemorate the occasion, the City's Parks and Recreation Department will offer a special small keepsake to the first 100 attendees.
