The City of Sarasota Parks and Recreation Department is teaming up with the Sarasota Police Department to bring you the "K.O.P.S. Summer Fun Night" at the Robert L. Taylor Community Complex. K.O.P.S., or "Kids and Officers Promoting Solidarity," is about creating strong bonds between local children and law enforcement officers.
On Friday, July 26, we invite kids ages 8 to 15 to join us for a summer bash featuring games, sports, and the chance to hang out with our awesome local officers in a fun and supportive setting. From 5 p.m. to 7 p.m., kids ages 8 to 11 can dive into fun activities and splash around in the pool. Then, from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m., the older kids, ages 12 to 15, will enjoy an evening of sports, games, and good times. The best part? Dinner, refreshments, safe supervision, and all activities are free of charge for attendees.
